Warm-Up:

  • Create a "Share" link for the Story Time video that you handed in. (If you do not know how to do this, ask a returning student for help.)
  • Share that link in the Warm-Up that has been posted to Google Classroom.

    1. Use the links shared during the Warm-Up and the form we tried out together on Tuesday to critique all of the videos that have been shared.
    2. Yes, this includes your own video.
  2. Storyboards!
    1. Our next video project will be a "Silent Film" assignment documenting how to make a video, starting with a script and ending with a finished video.
    2. You were assigned the storyboard for this assignment as homework, so it should be completed.
    3. There is a NEW form in Google Classroom for this portion of the lesson. use it do document that you are doing the following:
      1. Show your storyboard to a classmate.
      2. Ask them to give you some POSITIVE criticism, and some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
      3. Write down which classmate said what using the form.
  3. Exit Ticket (Auto-Posted to Google Classroom at 3:40 pm)

    1. What is something you didn't notice about your storyboard until you showed it to someone else?
  4. HOMEWORK
    1. 09-17: Create a storyboard showing a student completing the steps of making a video, starting with the script writing. DO NOT include any dialogue.
    2. 09-19: Make revisions to your storyboard, taking into account the positive and constructive criticism you collected today.
