  1. Story Time Activity
    1. Today is the last day for working on the Story Time video.
      1. Extended from the previous deadline of last Friday.
    2. Everything about this assignment was meant to be an introduction to new things:
      1. New way of creating a story
      2. New way of recording audio (Audacity)
      3. New way of editing video (OpenShot)
    3. Now that introductions have occurred, the projects will begin to become more difficult.
      1. Recording your audio, searching for images, or even storyboarding the day the project is due will likely result in grades you do not wish to share with your parents.
    4. We will be assessing some of the projects handed in early using the following rubric.
      5 pts. Length Video is 1-2.5 minutes Total Run Time, (TRT)
      5 pts. Images There is always some graphic element visible that supports the dialogue, images are properly cited.
      5 pts. Audio Any music/sound effects support the dialogue, audio is properly cited.
      5 pts. Story Video uses the audio recorded during the group activity.

    1. What can you do to make your next video easier?
  3. HOMEWORK
    1. 09-03: Read the syllabus, bring ONLY the last page back after filling it out.
    2. 09-05: Find something relate-able to your group story on one of the approved sources, then create the appropriate citation for it in your notebook.
    3. 09-09: Storyboard out a slide-show using the dialogue from your story and images from the approved sources. You will be editing video on Wednesday if you come in with a storyboard that can be approved.
    4. 09-11: Make a "To-Do List" of what you need to finish in order to make your project as awesome as possible by the end of class on Friday.
    5. 09-13: Create a storyboard showing a student completing the steps of making a video, starting with the script writing. DO NOT include any dialogue.
