    1. Students will generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work to demonstrate understanding of PGCPS technology rules. (Anchor Standard 1)
  3. Guided Instruction
      1. Project 2: Student Choice Video

        1. Scores posted in Google Classroom on 3-5.
        2. Resubmit for higher grade by 3-15.
      2. Project 3: Sound Effects Video

        1. Rubric:
          ► 25% Video is 1-4 minutes (live action) or 0:30-1 minute (animation), Total Run Time (TRT).
          ► 25% Title & Credits include sound.
          ► 25% Video includes sound effects.
          ► 25% Video includes 1-5 people.
      3. Project 4: Final Project
        1. Due Tuesday, March 26th.
        2. Critique on Thursday, March 28th. (Last day of 3rd Quarter)
        3. Video Option Rubric:
          ► 25% Video includes added visual effects.
          ► 25% Video includes at least one graphic made by the student.
          ► 25% Credits are 30 seconds or longer.
          ► 25% Video is 1-4 minutes Total Run Time (TRT)
        4. Music Option Rubric:
          ► 25% Song includes a minimum of 3 instruments.
          ► 25% Song includes 1-3 sound effects.
          ► 25% Song has a noticeable effect added in post-processing.
          ► 25% Song is 1-2 minutes TRT.
  4. Independent Work
    1. Critique Day!
      1. By now you should know the drill.
      2. 14 videos were handed in. You are responsible for critiquing ALL 14 videos, INCLUDING yours.
    2. Software options for music creation:
      1. Audacity (Already installed on all the laptops, this is great for adding effects.
      2. Soundation (Make a free account, use the "Sign up with Google" option and use your PGCPS email account.)
      3. Music Lab Song Maker (A very simple step sequencer)
      4. Onlinesequencer.net (A much more advanced step sequencer)
      5. Incredibox (Song mixing using outfits)
      6. Groove Pizza (Step Sequencer with a more circular interface)
      7. Sonic Pi (Use code to make music. This is installed on some of the desktops. I can install on the laptops as requested.)
      8. Phone apps (There are many apps that let you make your own music. I am personally a fan of step sequencer apps myself.)
      9. Chrome Audio Capture (Useful if you're using a web based tool that doesn't let you download the song you're making.)
    3. Homework Review:
      1. 3-4: Finish submitting all 14 critiques if you have not already done so.
      2. 3-6: Complete your storyboard for Project 3.
      3. 3-8: List 5 ways you can make video creation easier.
      4. 3-12: Write a line item for our next project rubric.
      5. 3-14: Complete your animation if you have not already done so.
