Objective:

  • Students will refine and complete artistic work. (Anchor Standard 3) to show understanding of the methods and techniques incorporated in the media of logo creation.

      3. 5-8: Film Fest Awards Ceremony (Permission slips due ASAP! Dress nice, pack a lunch!)

      1. Make sure your .png file is shared in the Critique assignment. (Some of you shared SVG files.
      2. Cut stencils will start coming in next week. Start thinking about bringing in a shirt.
      3. We will be printing one at a time to not adversely affect our project schedule.
    4. Q3 Project 3: Music Video
      1. Graded
      2. You have until 3-23 if you wish to resubmit for a higher grade.
    5. Q3 Project 4: Interview

      1. Rubric:
        ► 25% Interview is in a non-public place (ex: classroom, home, NOT sidewalk.)
        ► 25% Interviewees must be real, living people.
        ► 25% 3-7 people interviewed.
        ► 25% Interview includes AT LEAST 3 different questions.
  2. Independent Work
    1. Homework/Journal checks
      1. 2-27: How is a music video harder to produce than our previous videos? How is it easier? Explain both of these answers to earn credit.
      2. 3-1: Storyboard three distinctly unique panels that show an action that could take place when a song increases its intensity.
      3. 3-5: Write a line item you would like to see as part of our next project.
      4. 3-7: List 3 people you would want to interview. Write 2 questions per person, without repeating questions.
      5. 3-11: Storyboard three different setups for an on-camera interview.
      6. 3-13: We are nearing the end of the quarter. List 5 Media Arts related things you've learned this year. (Don't list it if you knew it last year.)
    2. Q3 Project 4: Interview
      1. You have been told that you will not be sent out of the room to conduct interviews, but on Monday we brainstormed ideas of things you could work on in class.
