  • Students will refine and complete artistic work. (Anchor Standard 3) to show understanding of the methods and techniques incorporated in the media of logo creation.

    3. Q3 Project 2: Logo/T-Shirt Design
      1. Rubric:
        ► 25% Logo is monochromatic.
        ► 25% Logo must include "Media Arts" or an image that represents Media Arts.
        ► 25% Logo must include 1-3 modified public domain images.
        ► 25% No illegible text may be used.

    4. Q3 Project 3: Music Video
      1. Rubric:
        ► 25% Project is a "Music Video."
        ► 25% Project showcases skills learned in previous lessons.
        ► 25% Project involves 2 or more people.
        ► 25% Project includes a voice-over.
  2. Independent Work
    1. Homework/Journal checks
      1. 2-25: What can you do to personalize this project so you will still earn an A but have it say something about your personal aesthetic tastes.
    2.  Critique Day!
      1. Make sure you use the share link for your PNG file so your classmates see a more accurate version of your design.

      1. Song Selection
        1. Most of you did this on Monday.
      2. Storyboarding
        1. Make these in your journals.
        2. Use timestamps to make sure the actions you plan sync up with the music you've selected.
      3. Recording
        1. I expect to see a storyboard before you are given permission to record.
  3. HOMEWORK
    1. 2-27: How is a music video harder to produce than our previous videos? How is it easier? Explain both of these answers to earn credit.
