  • Students will refine and complete artistic work. (Anchor Standard 3) to show understanding of the methods and techniques incorporated in the media of photography.

      1. Rubric:
        ► 25% 12-20 of your best photos of nature.
        ► 25% Photos are presented in landscape format.
        ► 25% Photos are taken at noticeably different times of day.
        ► 25% Photos include post-processing.
      2. CRITIQUE DAY!
    3. Q3 Project 2: Logo/T-Shirt Design
      1. Rubric:
        ► 25% Logo is monochromatic.
        ► 25% Logo must include "Media Arts" or an image that represents Media Arts.
        ► 25% Logo must include 1-3 modified public domain images.
        ► 25% No illegible text may be used.
    4. How common is your password?
      1. Wikipedia has an updated list.
      2. Has someone hacked your password?
      3. All Middle Schoolers will be changing their passwords this month.
  2. Independent Work
    1. Homework/Journal checks
      1. 2-4: List three problems you've encountered so far with this project, along with what you did or are planning to do to solve those problems.
      2. 2-6: Write a QUALITY DRIVEN line item for the rubric we'll be building together on Friday.
      3. 2-8: Draw 5 unique thumbnail sketches of rubrics that could fit the rubric requirements if finished. The sketches do not need to be neat, colored, or very large.
