Warm-Up: We need suggestions for next week's homework. Remember that things we've included on previous rubrics do not count. We also need links to your photo project and the 3-29 homework so we can critique them.

    1. 5th Grade Audition Days
      1. Creative Arts wing will be SHUT DOWN all day.
      2. We will meet in the upstairs computer lab on Thursday.
      3. Those computers are not ideal for editing video. Come prepared to do work that does not require that editing.
      4. ELO will still happen in our regular room.

    2. Critiques
      1. Remember:
        1. Critiquing a project honestly HELPS your grade.
          1. You are EXPECTED to critique your own project.
        2. Leaving a critique blank (or picking "No Video") when a project is not submitted DOES NOT hurt your grade.
        3. Leaving a critique blank (or picking "No Video") when a project was submitted HURTS your grade.
        4. Critiquing a project that isn't there HURTS your grade MORE.
    3. Homework: Due Friday, April 13th.
      1. Student Rubric:
        ► Audio/Video/Pacing Quality reflects the student's time as a Media Arts Major.
        ► Video is EXACTLY 20 seconds long.
        ► Video must involve conflict.
        ► Video involves nature.
    4. Project: Spring Break due April 20th.
        1. Student Rubric:
          ►Audio/Video/Pacing Quality reflects the student's time as a Media Arts Major.
          ► Video must be about the student.
          ► Video must be about what happened during Spring Break.
          ► Video must be at least 2 minutes.
    5. Students claiming they have nothing to do will be asked to show completed storyboards and/or brainstormed lists of things to photograph.
      1. Students who insist on off-task behaviors may have their parents contacted. This text counts as your warning.
