Warm-Up: Look at your grade & comments for the 10-10-2017 Warm-Up. Find the song "Heartbreaking" by Kevin MacLeod in the YouTube Audio Library, then cite that song as it should appear in video credits. (There will be no half-credit given for this Warm-Up, as completing it perfectly is often less work than doing it incorrectly.)

- Getting Work Done
- Exporting video takes time.
- Some problems are inevitable.
- The "last minute" for video assignments is two days before they're due. Waiting later than that is detrimental to your grade, even IF you finish.

- Anyone with a signed permission slip can stay to work on projects.
- BRING PROJECTS TO WORK ON! ("I left my videos at home" helps no one.)
- Chroma Key Filming
- Sign-up form will be posted to Google Classroom AFTER today's agenda is covered.
- You can only sign up once. Don't put your name on it if you're not ready.
- You will have 5 minutes to film.
- I have yet to see a storyboard with 2.5 minutes worth of dialogue. You should be able to get everything done in 5 minutes.

- Homework
- This week's homework:
- 5 pts: Pacing (Is it so slow the audience gets bored? Is it so fast the audience misses things?)
- 5 pts: Audio (Is the dialogue clearly spoken? Do other sounds drown the dialogue out? Do the sounds help reinforce the plot?
- 5 pts: Visuals (Title & credits? Can the audience see what's going on? Do the shot choices direct the audience's focus in ways that help move the plot along? Are the transitions distracting?)
- 5 pts: Video should show a large amount of time passing while only using a small amount of video and a series of cuts. (Do NOT use text to say that time has passed. That's the lazy way out and you will not earn credit.).
- This week's homework:
- Chroma Key Adventure
- Storyboard: Was due Friday, 10-06
- Nineteen storyboards were submitted.
- Three storyboards looked ready to film.
- Refusing to make use of time for critique does not excuse you from mistakes that you leave in.
- Final Cut of Video: Due Friday, 10-20
- Plot
- Main character travels somewhere incredible & interacts with things there.
- Edits
- Main character filmed in front of chroma key screen.
- At least 3 different camera angles are used.
- Each shot has a foreground, middle ground, & background that change with the angle used.
