  3. Progress Report Grades
    1. Will be published when the grading window opens on Monday, May 8th.
  4. Network News Storyboard.
    1. Due May 12.
    2. NO ONE who has handed it in so far has earned a passing grade.
      1. Don't feel too bad, I wasn't expecting that much work to be done so soon.
      2. Read the rubric and revise accordingly.
  5. Video Project
    1. Do NOT hand in a video if you do not have a qualifying storyboard. It will earn a zero.
    2. ALL possible storyboards for the Video Project are past due. If you don't have a qualifying storyboard yet, you aren't going to have one for THIS video. Do the Network News assignment instead.
  6.  For those who will say "I can't work on my video here...."
    1. Are you in 8th grade? If so, do you have a project that Ms. Hogue has asked you to do?
    2. I am accepting UP TO THREE Inkscape assignments in Google Classroom.
      1. All Inkscape assignments are due by TOMORROW, MAY 5. Yes, this is new information.
    3. I am also accepting up to 3 GIMP assignments using the same rubric.
      1. PASS/FAIL ►A link to the tutorial you used. (This is a citation. Leaving it out means I can't grade anything.)
        50% ►Your cool GIMP creation, exported as a png file.
        50% ►Your short review of the tutorial.
  7. Final
    1. 100 point assessment grade.
      1. All assessments averaged together are 20% of your average.
      2. Your critiques have been 20 point assessments.
      3. Your Network News Storyboard or Video project is a 100 point assessment. It's the only other big assessment grade for 4th Quarter.
    2. Rubric is coming soon. (Rubrics for finals need to be approved by administration. There's paperwork involved.)
      1. Yes, RUBRIC. I don't do multiple choice finals. You're going to have to show you learned how to make something.
    3. Will be due on Friday, May 26.
    4. 8th Graders with jobs from Ms. Hogue: She needs to tell me she's happy with your work by Friday, May 26. Later than that and it won't be shown in the promotion ceremony for the first time since I started having a major. THIS IS YOUR FINAL.
