Warm-Up: Read the guidelines and categories for the PGCPS Film Festival. Make a list of videos you've submitted that would qualify for the festival.

Agenda:

  1. Revised Essays
    1. Currently grading them
    2. Almost done (2 essays left)
    3. Will enter into SchoolMax when finished.
  2. Film Festival
    1. You may already have several videos that could be submitted.
    2. Some might be eligible with minor changes.
    3. Putting black shapes over logos meets the "No trademarks" requirement, but it looks bad.
      1. Plan ahead or plan to fail.
      2. Sometimes, a little tape is all you need.
    4. You might want to make a video from scratch.
    5. An upcoming project will have you submitting your best attempt for being in the show.
    6. Only 4 will be submitted. It is assumed that what you submit will be your absolute best.
      1. If you don't try, I will assume you can't try.
    7. We need to be wrapped up by the end of January so there is time to evaluate submissions.
  3. Due 12/16/2016
    1. Revised MP3 (If applicable) (MUST be an MP3 - no WAV, AUP, or scripts!)
    2. Major Video
    3. Homework (Jump Cut) (4 submissions so far!)
  4. Due 12/23/2016
    1. Revised Major Video (If applicable)
    2. Homework (Social issue)
