Warm-Up: Anything gradable that is past due is in SchoolMax. Check your progress report grades to see what YOU HAVE EARNED.

  1. If you AREN'T happy with them, make a list of what you need to do to bring that grade up.
  2. If you ARE happy with your grade, make a list of what you need to do to be even more awesome.

    1. Arguments that you should still earn credit for theft should be addressed to Ms. Hogue.
    2. Use ONLY with permission.
    3. Cite ANYTHING that isn't yours.
  3. Revised Essays
    1. Parent Emails & resubmissions are DUE TOMORROW.
  4.  Scripts
    1. Should be 1-2 minutes about why you want to be a Media Arts major.
    2. Shouldn't have common answers like "I like technology/video games/movies..."
    3. Revise it if it needs it.
  5. Recordings
    1. DUE TOMORROW
    2. Nothing should get between your dialogue and your audience.
      1. Background noise
      2. Flubbed lines
      3. Mumbling
  6. Storyboards
    1. Video is DUE DECEMBER 16TH.
    2. Fail to plan and you plan to fail.
    3. Better to start early than wait until the last minute.
  7. Homework
    1. DUE TOMORROW: Video should be silent EXCEPT FOR an off-camera narrator and YouTube Audio Library soundtrack.
      1. This should be done or mostly done if you've been paying attention.
    2. DUE DECEMBER 16TH: Video should use a series of jump cuts to condense a longer passage of time into a shorter video.

      2. Showing someone thinking or waiting is boring.
      3. Making, organizing, cleaning, or practicing something is less boring.
