  • If you are HAPPY with your grade, leave a "Private Comment" on your video saying one thing you like about the project you completed.
  • If you are UNHAPPY with your grade, leave a "Private Comment" on your video saying what you would do to improve your project.

  1. Project Grades
    1. Anything that uses the big rubric is a test grade.
    2. Not doing them does bad things to your average.
    3. Ignoring things that have already been taught will do bad things to your average.
    4. Waiting until the last minute can do bad things to your average.
  2. Copyright
    1. Grace period was 1st Quarter.
    2. This is 2nd Quarter.
    3. Lack of citation = 0
    4. Incomplete citation = 0
      1. "Song Name, Artist Name, Downloaded from the YouTube Audio Library"
      2. If it's Creative Commons, COPY/PASTE that citation!
    5. Using work without permission = 0
      1. This includes making a video while someone else is watching TV.
    6. Classroom policy is more lenient than PGCPS Film Festival policy.
  3. Parent Contact
    1. They should email me.
    2. If they don't email me, when we EVENTUALLY talk I will tell them I asked you to email me.
  4. Essays
    1. Final drafts due Friday.
    2. Yes, they're still 1000 words minimum.
    3. Yes, I know lots of ways to increase word count by cheating. I will look for them.
    4. Yes, I know how to check for plagiarism. Citing sources is irrelevant for this assignment as I am 100% asking for YOUR OPINION. If you use a source that isn't you, it isn't your opinion.
  5. Video Editing
    1. New computers all have registered versions of HitFilm 4.
    2. HitFilm 4 is VERY stable.
    3. If OpenShot/Camtasia are getting to be too much, ask to use one of the new computers.
    4. We have 7 computers that can be used.
      1. Have video/images/music ready to go in Google Drive.
      2. Ask to use one of the new computers.
      3. Edit, export, and upload.
      4. ANY off task behavior forfeits the privilege of using new computers.

        4. DEFINITELY includes games
